‘Ainda Estou Aqui’ é pré-selecionado para concorrer ao Oscar

Ainda é cedo para comemorar, mas o Brasil já pode respirar aliviado, pois Ainda Estou Aqui, de Walter Salles, foi pré-selecionado para concorrer ao Oscar de melhor filme internacional. Os indicados finais serão anunciados no dia 17 de janeiro.

A Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas dos Estados Unidos anunciou na tarde desta terça-feira (17) as pré-listas de indicados a dez categorias: filme internacional, documentário em longa-metragem, documentário em curta-metragem, maquiagem e penteado, música (trilha sonora original), música (canção original), curta-metragem de animação, curta-metragem em live-action, som e efeitos visuais.

Filme estrelado por Fernanda Torres e Selton Mello aparece entre 15 títulos, incluindo grandes produções, como Emilia Pérez e The Seed of the Sacred Fig.

É a primeira vez que o Brasil aparece em uma pré-lista desde 2008, quando O Ano em que Meus Pais Saíram de Férias, de Cao Hamburger, foi pré-indicado. A última indicação foi para o próprio Walter Salles, com Central do Brasil, em 1999.
